Inspired by his enthusiasm and lifelong love of music, Master D known in the house scene under the name DJ Dekky from Ljubljana (Slovenia) started his own imprint 'Urban Dance Institution', a project which started off producing house music with elements of soul, jazz and funk.
Firstly he invited Aleš Bartelj a guitarist, bassist and composer to work with him and together they created their first song 'Movin and Groovin' injected with the vocal talents of London singer Laura Clive. The single was released by Italian publishing outfit 'Sounds Good Club' from Milan.

Immediately afterwards the project was joined by saxophonist and producer Mario Marolt, keyboarder Dr Jazz and singer Lucy May from London. Two songs were born: 'Omen' and 'Like Music'. Omen was released as a single, the original by known London record company Kidoology Records and a remix by Mark Wilkinson - Problem Kid. The single charted on Ministry of Sound Radio Dance Anthems Charts.

In 2005 the next single 'Like Music' was released by the UK label 'NY Soul Records'. The single was remixed by Manchester DJ/Producer Graham Lord from the duo Audiowhores, while Original mix got on DJ Mags Hype Chart and was played by several radio stations including BBC Radio 1, Galaxy Fm, House FM and Ministry Of Sound Radio. Single was picked for cd compilation Poolside Habitat Collection.

The following single »Play 4 Love« was released by Kinky Malinki from London, well known as event organisers. A video spot was also shot for the single in the beautiful ambience of the Laguna and had its premier in London club Pacha in September 2005. The follow up titled »I Could Change It« was recorded by the same team and released by Rasisani Records from Dubai on their digital compilation Raisani Eivissa Sessions 2007.

During 2007 the project was also joined by composer and keyboarder Peter Mihelich, who lives and works somewhere between New York and Ljubljana. Dekky/Master D invited the black female London singer Shola Phillips to add vocals while top Slovenian musicians such as Jani Hace (bass), Matjaž Albeht (flute & vibrophone), David Jarh (trumpet) and Sergej Randjelovič (percussion) all added their charm.

Single I Miss U was release through UDI Records with additional mix from Groove Junkies on vinyl only. Here comes a digital release with........

MASTER D - Slovenian House & Soulful House Icon started his career back in 1988.
I met him in the early 90's and this is man who infected me with quality house and soulful house music.
I was able to share many great moments together with him when he was running the best club nights in the country as a resident DJ @ Club Central, Ljubljana 1995 – 2001 and also on some other venues where we played together.
Master D got opportunity in July 2007 to play in best Slovenian club Ambasada Gavioli with godfather of House music Frankie Knuckles and this awesome performance with the great crowd in the front of the dj booth gave him more passion and energy for his future work. They called him back from Ambasada Gavioli to play in September 2008 with with David Morales. He was also able to share the stage in his hometown Ljubljana with Joey Negro, Bobby & Steve, Lisa Millett, CJ Mackintosh, Marshall Jefferson and DJ Kenny Carpenter on different venues. In July 2010 he played on Sunce Beat festival which lead him to became a resident dj for Sunce Beat festivals http://www.suncebeat.com in Croatia organized by Southport Weekender Crew www.southportweekender.co.uk.where he was able to share the stage with some of the best names from Industry like Dimitri From Paris, Giles Petterson, David Morales, François K, Jazzanova, Dennis Ferrer, Kerri Chandler, Osunlade, the list is too long.
We are very proud to have him on the label with this very special song performed by UK based singer-songwriter Shola Phillips known worldwide from the club hit Astro Trax - The Energy (Feel the Vibe), released as a single in 1998 on Sattelite Records and was later in 2000 licensed to Defected Records and remixed by German production duo BMR (Boris Dlugosch & Michi Lange), Jose Nunez, King Unique, B-15 Project and Stanton Warriors. She also collaborated with 187 Lockdown on their album 187 and with The Layabouts Feat. J-Key & Shola Phillips – Stand Up remixed by Kenny Dope, one half of the Masters At Work.

I Miss You originally released on vinyl back in 2008 on UDI Records and was licensed to SENSUAL VOCAL HOUSE #2 Compilation in 2009 and remixed from the world faumous Groove Junkies in the time when Evan Landes and Parrish Wintersmith have been working together http://www.5chicago.com/features/february2007/groove-junkies.html .
