Let's Be Young (Part 1)

Quentin Harris

NRK
NRK109 | 2005-11-20
NRK have signed up one of the most buzzing tracks of the year so far; Quentin Harris' 'Let's Be Young'. Already being hailed as a modern classic by the house fraternity and beyond, this string laden, horn led track has been featuring heavily in DJ sets around the globe. This release sees a club friendly Ashley Beedle edit, taking time out from his X-Press 2 duties! Already a Pete Tong Essential new tune, 'Let's Be Young' is heading up a strong resurgence in New York house music at the moment.

The track fuses a deep Detroit techno vibe into its NY house swing, whilst the horn riff makes it a contender for most uplifting record of the moment! Tech-soul at its finest! It's of no surprise then that Quentin hails from the Motor City of Detroit. With his roots in hip-hop, and a career that started with the then (unknown) Slum Village, Eminem and D12, Quentin produced for local hip-hop act The Masterminds, before making the move to New York City. Now turning his attention to the more soulful side of house, Quentin is currently part of Timmy Regisford's Club Shelter, and now travels the world DJing and has been behind recent remixes of Bah Samba, Donnie and Blaze.
