The “MooreHouse” project is designed to showcase Chicago-native Meisha Moore’s journey in music with an emphasis on her House music. This project has been ten years in the making, representing a lot of blood, sweat and tears. “Love Hangover Suite” single was her first release in 2003, followed by the “Pierce Me” album in 2004, and her top selling “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” single in 2005. Meisha, along with singer, songwriter, and producer Chris Winters were chosen to debut the new AudioBite Soulful label with their “Brand New Day” single. She and Chris also scored big with “Brand New Day” when it was chosen to be in the soundtrack of the 2007 movie Finding Preet. Meisha has had many single and EP releases, including “I Just Wanna Dance,” “Brand New Day International,” “Pierce Me Rebooted,” “Kiss You All Over,” “Tell Me All About It,” “I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love,” “Scene Of The Crime,” “Soul Trip,” along with “Neither One Of Us” and “The Boss.”
This 39-track album is the definitive collection of the House music of Meisha Moore, a tribute to her music and to the many producers and labels she has worked with over the past decade. These tracks represent some of her finest selections for your listening pleasure. Come along as the journey continues in 2014!
