Dear Deer is back with another big release and at this time we are glad to welcome Compact Grey and Julian Wassermann with they Oldschool Hero EP include fantastic remix from NTFO.
Compact Grey started his musical career in 2005 when he worked as a booking agent. Someday in 2010 he left the agency in order to concentrate more on his own career. Starting off with his first productions and playing some amazing gigs at festivals such as "SonneMondSterne" or "Airbeat One", he manifested his name in the Techno and House scene pretty fast.Also his productions keep the people dancing real hard for years now. Already in 2009 he released his first EP called "The Game" on Christian Fischer's imprint "Definition Records". Only one year later Compact Grey's track "Summer Spirit" rose to the position of the official anthem for the same-called festival close to Berlin. He was also mixing the official festival CD for the "Electro City Festival 2011".Always hungry for more is his motto and so he founded his own label "Gris Musique" where he releases his own productions and the ones from his best buddies. For example, his track "Bane" hit the Beatport Tech House charts at position #11 and was supported by internationally well know artists like Mark Knight, Marco Carola, Stefano Noferini and many more!In fact the Leipzig based DJ and producer is a musician with heart and soul and so being creative means everything to him! His music, both productions and DJ sets, can best be described a groovin' Tech-House that has been much influenced by Techno, House, Pop and Rock. His sound always orients itself on the tune of time, without transforming into a trashy trend-follower or being a copy cat. Being innovative with everything is Compact Grey's goal and so he sometimes even sets trends on his own.
Live Act and Deejay Julian Wassermann is one of the young and wild ones. With several releases on well known labels like PopArt, Moodmusic, Klang Gymnastik, Gris Musique and many more, Julian showed how to create dancefloor-oriented sound between Techno and Deep House. His Songs are supported by illustrious names like Joyce Muniz, Martin Landsky, Whebba, The Mekanism, Betoko, Kruse and Nurnberg, Marco Carola, Hermanez, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. With tracks like "Munich love you", "The Vibe", "Look So Good", "Jupiter" and more he is always guest in playlists around the globe and in the Beatport Chart as well. As resident DJ in many clubs around Munich Julian created awesome moments, which puts him into the level of a well booked DJ and Live Act, so he plays alongside the real big names at events like Rave on Snow, Day 'n Nite Festival, Harry Klein and many more.
