Best Nights Ever - Ibiza Boat Party
Compiled and mixed by Ben Sowton and John Moss
Best Nights Ever, the series that takes you back to the future to your best night ever or the one you're about to have. That's the thing about a best night - you never know when another is going to come along...
...and what can be better than a Boat Party, whether off the stunning coast of Ibiza or cruising down the Thames waiving those arms at the Houses of Parliament (without ballot papers that is!) So it makes sense for the next on the journey is Best Nights Ever - Ibiza Boat Party. We have compiled a double CD with some deep, house with a hint of garage and tech house in places on CD 1 warming up proceedings nicely, taking you into CD 2 with some of what are, without doubt, some of the biggest tunes around and very likely to be future classics.
The mixes
CD1 compiled and mixed by Ben Sowton....this has some real gems, not only are there some of the stand out tracks from Seamless including Alias Rhythm & Dephlex's What You Give and Mikael Delta's Staunch hearts but also some smashes from the likes of Alex Kenji, Finnebassen and John Rivera. With the Barrientos mix of the 1995 classic, Bring You Up by the singer/producer Romanthony, the man behind some of the biggest dance records of the last 2 decades who sadly recently died. The mix reaches its climax as Demarkus Lewis throws his weight behind Believe in Me by John Rivera and sets up the finale with Time to Get Physical by Italian producers NiCe7 remixed by Tube Berger, one of the biggest tracks of the moment from Defected.
CD2 compiled and mixed by John Moss..who has recently signed to Seamless with some big deep and techy tracks, with Freakin' featuring on CD1. John includes a number of Seamless tracks as well as from fellow Scandinavians Lars Van Dalen and Space resident Rob Roar from his label Phonetic, What's Happening. John also includes more of his productions showing that not only as a DJ but producer that his cuts more than stand out against some of the biggest tunes out there. Other stand out tracks include Pete Gooding's Mix of Boghosian's Esta Vida out on Defected and It's My Rhyme on Toolroom.
