Just in time for the summer, Grooveland Music unleashes a soon-to-be Ibiza anthem
Steven Stone has always been in the world of music, but it was at age 14 that he found his real calling, djing. Wanting to improve his innate qualities as DJ, he entered the School of Audio Engeneering. Influenced by musical legends such as Earth Wind and Fire, George Benson, Luther Vandross, Bob James, Diana Ross, Bobby Bird, Incognito, Jamiroquai and the Brand New Heavies, Steven succeeded in producing sweet and soulful house tracks with a beautiful blend of Soul, Jazz, Funk, Latin and Disco.
Steven has an array of production released on well-known labels like Barcoda, Duffnote, Reelgroove, MoD, Stalwart, Staff Productions, Player and Soultonic; and has remixed established artists like Justin Michael (Hermosa Rec/Soulfuric), Mustafa (Stalwart/Staff Productions) and So What (Loveslap/Del Rec), among many others.
Just in time for the hot summer season, Steven gifts the world with another solid production featuring the lovely Mrs. Elisangela on vocals. Alucinada de Prazer is an uplifting feel-good tune featuring portuguese vocals and blending together sweet rhodes chords, funky guitar licks and trumpets solos over a latin-esque groove.
The remixes are provided by Stereo Mutants (UK) with an irresistible and melodic deep-house affair; Jihad Muhammad (US) with his trademark jazzy and soulful touch; Hernan Cronner (ARG), our neighbour from Argentina who choosed a laidback and Bossa-Nova influenced rub; and Jarrier Modrow (BR), who turned the song into a dancefloor favourite by adding pumping beats and subtle
orchestration.
Alucinada de Prazer is getting full support from top jocks like Andy Ward, Richard Earnsahw, Keith Thompson, Dalminjo, Hot Hands, Matthew Bandy, Steve Soulbasics, Mark Mendoza, DJ Pope, Ezel, Phil Hooton, to name a few.
