Rhythm Soul is a South African based music group co-formed by Nhlanhla Joseph Maseli and Tshepo Hillary Setuke in 2011 (both self-taught Composer/Deejays), and later got joined by Paul Brown Masenya (Vocalist/Songwriter) in 2013. All three members are from Soweto (JHB).
Rhythm Soul is a HOUSE MUSIC group that focuses in more than one type of house music. Rhythm Soul combines elements from Deep House, Commerical House, Tribal House, and Soulful House giving you a distinctive South African sound that’s just too unique and funky.
By producing their first single, "Jozi Nights" (published by Atlegang Holdings (Pty) LTD in 2012), that got fair play on YFM and also playlisted on Ligwalagwala FM opened doors for these lads and their style of music to the house music scene.
Not forgetting working with the likes of Igor B (from Russia), Mr Gun (from London) & DJs Double Smile (a DJ duo of Antonio Ciry & Guido Prince, both from Italy), in their first EP (Rhythm Soul – Road Trip EP) in 2013, released under a record label from Italy (Nobody’s Perfect Record Label), available on portal stores such as Beatport, Amazon, iTunes and Juno.
Also releasing a single with U Records from Portugal "I Got 2 Have U" late 2013, available on portal stores as Traxsource, Beatport, Amazon, iTunes and Juno.
And will be releasing their upcoming dance single titled "Push It Up" which was released in March 2014 with House365 Records for their second EP release (Rhythm Soul – Push It Up EP) which will feature remixes by other artists. The EP will be available for download on all portal stores.
With strong support from even abroad Rhythm Soul can prepare their future productions by exploring different horizons open to them and by collaborating with other artists from other genres of music.
