Built around luscious vocals from Canadian songstress Lisa Shaw, ‘Holdin On’ (Lovebirds 808ies Matrix) does exactly as its title suggests: Doering plays director for an orchestra of popping 808 percussive melodies and bright, 80s inspired analogue synth work. Lovebirds’ carefully constructed production prowess and the track’s excellent song writing is sure to be a winning combination for this house cross-over gem.
