After teasing followers of the label with a couple remixes on previous Ornate Music releases, Messrs Jonno & Tommo decided it was time to unleash the money shot and hit peoples up with a full EP. After years of honing their ears in various discotheques and parties and a meeting through mutual friends they decided to channel their shared passion and start making some deep, deep house music together. And oh what fun its been. The Future Is All Sorts of Colours Not Just Orange EP is the first fruit of their labour, commencing with the pulsating, wigged out groove of Lidl Moon which throbs like a heartbeat as soaring synths pull you out into orbit. If that wasnt far enough Vakula takes it to another dimension and comes up with something that sounds like MCDE on liquid LSD. Pandys Groove, a tribute to the late, great Mr Daryl Pandy is a Balearic house trip of stellar proportions and the EP reaches completion with the title track The Future Is All Sorts of Colours Not Just Orange a smoky, jazzy affair with live melancholy wah wah which will leave you ears twitching with anticipation for what these guys have next on the horizon.
