MoHo drops WMC FIYA... now "Shut Up" n download!

The second single from Groove Junkies forthcoming artist album "In The Zone" features the astounding vocals of Wendy Brune' (the singer on last years "Work It Out"). This time around Wendy exposes the full arsenal of her vocal prowess that will no doubt put her in the company of our genres most gifted singers. No stranger to the entertainment industry, Wendy has performed all over the world, and her ‘in demand’ status has afforded her featured vocalist notoriety at such prestigious events as The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes, and The Emmy Awards. A true departure from her last single on MoreHouse, "Shut Up N' Dance" deviates from the traditional verse/chorus/verse/chorus approach with an unconventional vocal arrangement that showcases the versatile range of her incredible artistry. Whether serving sassy yet playful spoken word, dazzling us with jazz influenced vocal scats, or belting out soulful diva-esque licks, Wendy's striking sophomore performance on MoreHouse is primed n’ ready to make a lasting impression. Factor in 3 slammin' mixes from Groove Junkies, a remix from the always reliable Richard Earnshaw, accompanying instrumentals of all mixes, and a handy little 'Get On Up’-appella' tool, and you have one very tight package that will 'work' the most discernable of dance floors. From the oh so cool and housey original to the deepnees of the nyc dub, add to this richard earnshaws soulful contribution, you get to my fav - the old school rub - peaktime dancefloor devastation. This release has something for us all and im sure we as djs will play a variety of the mixes during a set huge release for the boys..... 10/10 Craig Bartlett JJazproJect, UK The Groove Junkies sound continues to evolve with a release that's sure to make people sit up and take notice. There's a choice of four vocal mixes, three instrumentals and an acapella. Evan and Parrish get things started with their Ol' Skool Rub complete with a keyboard arrangement thatwill transport those who are old enough back to the late eighties. Next up Richard Earnshaw delivers a version that sits somewhere between his typical Duffnote and Spiritchaser sounds and packs a real punch. GJs NYC Deep Dub has a touch of the old Morales Red Zone style about it while the Originalsits closest to the typical GJs sound, although their trademark live bass sound of old has been replaced by a punchy synth bass creating a deeper vibe. The vocals throughout are awesome with a combination of words and scat musings that hit the spot big style. Top tune! Dean Serafini Swagger Lifestyle, US This is the one for me. Why? Well, you see maybe it's my veins, each vein craves the steady stream of house's pulse. But that's not enough. My veins also crave the energy of NYC, which becomes evident in this groove - one that gently streams a flow of space-like synthesizers throughout and then before you know it, the funky bass is slapped in there to get you involved. my veins, I'm hooked but relaxed and my mouth is shut!
