Review:
Malibongwe (Mali) is the name given to him by his late mother meaning "Give Thanks" which set the whole concept behind this musical EP. Mali in this EP is giving thanks for growth and what he now sees as a gift of creating music. This is the second chapter of his Musical Journal and here he is introducing his alter sound (Progressive House/Progressive Deep), he describes it to be a mixture of what many call Deep House and a pinch of Techno.
His new alter sound consist of stretched Rhodes, jumpy Baselines', ambiance Pads, stabbed Synths and clean Percussion. The title (Midnight Series) sets the theme for this series of EP's which will entail Mali's untold story.
