The stuff that we have coming up with right now is kind of
special, as it will definitely broaden the musical spectrum of
save room recordings. We are pleased to announce the
relationship with Cologne based artist duo Dualton. One
track, two artists, that don't need much introduction (cause
we hate bothering you with long intros and usually prefer to
let the music speak for itself!) if only there weren't three of
our favorite remix artist doing a great job interpreting the
original in such great ways....! Dualton are Robert and
Patrick, two like-minded individuals that act perfectly as
producer duo as well as a DJ-team. Exclusively for Save
Room Recordings they deliver a cool, stripped down house
track called 'Como Siempre'. The recipe for this track is an
simple one but it can't be beaten as far as functionality on
the dancefloor is concerned. A bouncing beat, groovy
percussion and a hooky guitar sample that gives the tune a
bit of a mediterranean feel. An easy to use DJ-tool that'll
definitely do it's job on the dancefloor. A totally different
interpretation comes from Mr. Ric McClelland aka Scope,
giving it a bit more of a housy attitude with a touch of
progressiveness. His use of the original's guitar samples is
both cool and intelligent. As an artist that already counts
releases on labels like NRK, Urbantorque, Large Music &
Friends, just to name a few, this guy is about to become a
house-music-heavyweight. Tiago Marques also did a great
job! You can't go less than that... BUT you also can't go
cooler than that! Expressing so much with such a tiny
amount of elements is what it is all about in his RMX... and
it's still maintains it's house sensibilities. A nice groovy tool
for either the early morning hours or to warm up your
crowd. Last but not least, we are really happy to welcome
'Carbon' on board. His releases on E-Minor, Italo Business
and Subconce Recordings have had a huge impact and were
charted by a lot of taste maker DJ's around the globe. His
remix is an energetic, fast forward and techno-ish
interpretation with some glitchy and bleepy elements for the
minimal headz out there. Definitely peak time!
