jɛloʊ (yellow?) is the color of gold, butter, or ripe lemons. In the spectrum of visible light, and in the traditional color wheel used by painters, yellow is located between green and orange.

For many years jelou has been active in the Hamburg music scene as a part of the collective "Rotzige Beatz" and the tech house duo "kopfthema". He gets inspiration for songs mainly in every day life when he listens analytically to his environment. This way he experiences sensations that give the impetus for sounds which, captured on the computer, slowly develop into songs until the origin can't be recognized.

Now his first solo EP will be released by URS.
