A new year, a new album, as 'Justin Winks' aka 'Casio Social Club' rolls out his second album in recent times. Many may have thought that following up last years 'Life in 3D' album would've been an uphill task, but Mr Winks was very quick to fire up the machines and 'the difficult second album' seemed to naturally flow without a hitch.

So, what's 'Retromental' all about? In short, a twelve track Nu-Disco album aimed more for the dancefloor, but still awash with all those juicy trademark vintage CSC sounds.

The opening track, 'Justin Illusion', a clever rendition of Imaginations' '82 hit packs a proper retro punch, whilst 'Love Glove' and 'Try Me' rock some serious Euro-Boogie appeal. 'Let's Do It' and 'Feels Right' on the other hand go all vocoder Electro and encompass some serious acid wiggle action too.

'Bass Face', 'Reach Up' and 'Rock the Discotheque' are true crowd pleasers, with everything but the kitchen sink thrown in... but they work a treat and have become staple joints in recent 'Casio Social Club' dj sets. 'Little Luv' on the other hand is all about 80s feel-good bells & chimes and will surely please any retro nut-nut!

Rounding things off we have the title track 'Retromental' and the heart wrenching 'Heavy Petting', that show off CSCs softer side of 80s Soul accompanied by plenty of Fairlight synth goodness.

So there you have it 'Casio Social Club - Retromental'. A Nu-Disco album for all retro mentalists... sounds great to us!

We hope you enjoy!
