Demarkus Lewis makes his debut for Night Shift, and another cracking Lewis release it is too! 'Tough Enough' opens with hi-hats and kickdrum going at it from the get go, closely followed by a bumping bassline and a stabbing female vocal, and it s peaktime floor action all the way on this tracky houser. 'Happy Feet' is another bass-driven cut, with more great percussion, a stabbing male vocal snippet, and warbling synths, before a sexy female vocal comes in and steals the show, while that solid bassline works the floor crowds. Last up is 'Drive Straigh', completing this set of tracky peaktime numbers with a hooky synth line and pumping bassline, while an abstract vocal stab duels it out with tight crisp beats for second billing. Does Demarkus ever make a bad record? Not on this showing…
