BIG Release!! With: Jay-J and Yogi & Husky (aka Random Soul) Remixes!

The mighty Ronan is back for another release on Onethirty with a blazing feel-good house cut cooked up in his Buenos Aires studio. He's teamed up with superb San Francisco-based vocalist Morrison for the seriously positive big room hit Funky Thing. Ronan enjoyed huge success with his last release on Onethirty (Inside) which charted for over eight weeks on Beatport's Deep House Top 10. With soulful vocal house backed by deep dubs and instrumentals for the underground DJs we expect Funky Thing to resonate just as strongly.

The first set of remixes come from the renowned San Francisco producer Jay-J. Jay-J is probably known to most of you for his 100+ productions from the past decade as well as his top-notch collaborations with Kaskade, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt, and Chris Lum. His remix here is in a classic Moulton Studios style, featuring Jay-J's patented uplifting vocal house vibe accompanied by one of his tough dubs.

Next up on the remix duties are Yogi & Husky, also known collectively as Random Soul. This rising Australian DJ duo has contributed solid house tracks for Miguel Migs' Salted label as well as Jay-J's own imprint Shifted. Their remix of Funky Thing opts for a deeper, underground sound suitable for those early A.M. DJ sets. An upcoming second round of Funky Thing remixes will contain Yogi & Husky's Random Soul remix ... stay tuned!
