MN2S are very proud to present a collaboration between Justin Michael, Phonic Funk and singer Maiya. Justin Michael is a multi-talented producer, remixer, DJ and Engineer. Since making his production debut in 2004, Justin has firmly established himself as one of today’s best producers releasing singles such as ‘Funky Love’ featuring Jackie Wilson which spent 16 weeks in the Billboard chart Top 20
Justin has released on some of the House world’s most celebrated imprints and in 2005 went on to set up his own record label Hermosa Recordings. Justin proved his A&R skills are as sharp as his production techniques through the imprint’s maiden release, ‘You Don’t Have To’ featuring the vocal talents of Hawaiian-born R&B singer Jason Lent. In 2007 he released his debut album ‘Everything’ and received critical acclaim. For 2008 MN2S have secured his production skills which will once again show that Michael is emerging as the latest in a long and prestigious line of West Coast producers championing the sounds of quality House music.
For this production Michaels has teamed up with Phonic Funk and singer Maiya. Phonic Funk’s is a newcomer to production but his skills have been quickly recognised and he recently won the Netherlands’ largest producer contest ‘Vinylized’. Phonic Funk can already be found in track lists from producers like Claude Monnet, Hardsoul and Brian Tappert to name a few. With Maiya on the vocals giving incredible power to this monster anthem, we are proud to present you his ultimate collaboration.
The original track is a great house record with that West Coast sound you’d expect from Michaels along with a thumping bass line and a very strong vocal performance from Maiya. The track builds nicely with ample breakdowns for maximum dance floor impact.

The package is complete with underground and instrumental mixes which are ideal for DJ tools as well as a strong remix package from Danism and Funky Soldiers. Danism step up to the mix and take apart the bass line creating a epic interpretation that will keep fans of their trademark techy sound happy. Funky Soldiers cut brings a soulful side to the original; a different grove with nice build up and rolling beats from beginning to end ! Watch out for original productions from the Funky Soldiers on MN2S, coming out soon.
