last year Yousef has released music on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Defected, remixing Carl Cox, and gravitating his own Circus Recordings to a remarkable level by releasing the years biggest underground track, Green Velvet "Bigger Than Prince".
Yousef's collaboration with The Angel, the anthemic "Float Away" released on FFRR/Warners/Big Beat Records was the summers Ibiza hidden treasure and is still simmering
3 Yousef singles for Defected appeared in the last year, “Think Twice”, "I See" (ADE week Buzz Chart #1) and of course “Beg” which sat at the top of the Beatport charts for 10 weeks.
His record label Circus Recordings continues to spread its message of the best in underground house and techno at an alarming rate, signing heroes like Reboot, Carl Cox, Green Velvet and re surfacing the super talented Harry Romero, as well as developing fresh names like Acid Mondays, David Glass and Horatio, building a strong platform for Yousef’s own music.

Believe in Love features the legendary vocal of Roy Davis Jr who once again, asks the world a poignant question. A rolling, infectious and gnarly groove develops and unfolds into a long and harmonic breakdown, and then of course a blistering crescendo. Designed to be for the heads but still enough action for the people that follow Yousef’s more musically trickier offerings.
Just a Beat in exactly that. Yousef busts out a stripped back boogie bass over tight drums and oddball acid. No messing around, heads down, hands up.
