The fourth in a series of mini compilations where
Rekids look back at where they knocked heads with artists across the globe. This collaborative locking of horns focuses on France – the land of baguettes, berets and ridiculous stereotypes. French old boys Alexkid and I:Cube show why they’ll go down as legends in their home country, with the former being so good we had to feature him twice here. Rex Club resident Molly shows why we need to keep an eye on her as a talented producer as well as DJ, with her previously vinyl-only ‘Loose Joint’ remix seeing its first digital incarnation. Last but not least, ‘Hot Beef’ - there’s no actual connection to France here other than the vocals, the vaguely Gallic chord progressions and the fact that ‘Rosbif’ is in the track name.
