On their second album Gone with the Wind the quintet led by Magali Fernandez offers versions of a wonderful selection of standards, including classics and some rarities. The arrangements and performances are both contemporary and in close dialogue with the jazz tradition. Fernandez shows a deeper tone to express the spirit of each song, while keeping the playful, delicate style of Don't Get Scared.
