Jace Mile Doesn't Miss. And This Time, He's Bringing the Funk.

A son of Los Angeles with vinyl in his veins, Jace Mile was practically raised in a record bin. His roots trace back to JDC Records, the South Bay institution that helped soundtrack the West Coast's Boogie renaissance. From the early echoes of Dre to the deeper rumbles of the underground, Jace has always chosen the shadows over the spotlight—and LA is funkier for it.

Now, one of the city's most enigmatic selectors resurfaces with a reverent nod to another ghost in the machine: Detroit's Moodymann, the patron saint of sweat-soaked dance floors and sample-saturated sermonizing. Disco Bump Dat Tang is Mile's love letter—gritty, lush, and dripping in analog soul.

It's house music for the real ones: sample-heavy, funk-laden, unapologetically raw. Heads who caught early plays at DEMF or The Chosen Few know what time it is. For everyone else? The needle drops now.
