Foliage Records serves up another essential slice of deep and soulful house with 'Show 'Em Up' — the latest offering from Dutch production duo Offshore and Coen, featuring the unmistakable voice of Swedish talent Ernesto & The Basement Gospel.



Since joining forces in 2010, Offshore (Maarten Kops) and Coen (Coen Verschuuren) have carved out a signature sound — a smooth, groove-soaked blend of deep house, live instrumentation, and warm, emotive vibes. With releases on respected labels like Freerange, Lazy Days, Atjazz Record Company, and Citizens of Vice, plus remixes for artists like KernKoppen, Kaysoul, and Norty Cotto, the pair have steadily earned their place on the global soulful house map. 2024 saw them reach new heights, dropping the acclaimed Playing in the Dark EP with Kali Mija and embarking on their dream debut tour across South Africa, sharing stages with icons like Ralf GUM and Lars Behrenroth.



On vocals, Jonatan Bäckelie — better known as Ernesto & The Basement Gospel — brings his signature soulful depth. A staple in the electronic world, Ernesto first made waves alongside Finnish producer Jori Hulkkonen with the underground classic We Are The Future and has since collaborated with heavyweights like Atjazz, Andreas Saag, Rasmus Faber, and Stateless. His unmistakable blend of heartfelt soul and electronic finesse has earned him a lasting reputation on labels including Compost, Freerange, and now, Foliage.
