‘Dirty People’ opens the release, delivering a deep house groover with sharp claps, slicing hi-hats, and chunky kicks laying down a tight foundation. Warm sweeping chords and a thick subby bassline anchor the groove as classic chord stabs give a nod to house tradition, while cool vocal shots add attitude and flair. The vibe is elevated by vibrant trumpet motifs and lush big band-style string swells A definite must have, no doubt. ‘Take It Slow’ closes out the release, introing with punchy kick drums, shuffling hi-hats, and rhythmic percussion that set an infectious groove.
