Dem Mai Hoes’ is a Broken Beat / Nu Jazz production workout straight from the lab of CN Williams. Featuring a vocal sample from a Moodymann interview, this track has been years in the making—refined, reworked, and now finally hitting the mark.

Unlike some of my sample-heavy productions, this one is fully built from the ground up. Every element—from the drums, flute, piano, bass, and horns to the congas, percussion, rain stick, and even the scratching—has been arranged and produced by yours truly.

Previously shared in a different form, this version has been fully polished and mastered by the incredibly talented Conan Manchester at The Crates Motel.

It’s far from a House track, but it’s got the funk and has been a passion project from start to finish. Hope you enjoy it!
