It has been an impressive couple of years for Italian producer Mattew Jay. Having signed his first work back in 2011 to Amazing Records, the label of MiniCoolBoyz, he immediately made a splash with the techno elite. Building on that support 2012 saw Mattew releases new works on Get Funky Music, Bla Bla Records and make his debut appearance on SCI+TEC, when his track 'Rollies' featured in Dubfire's 'A Transmission' compilation.
Mattew returns to SCI+TEC with a spiky collection of tracks on his 'Poisoned Rose' EP. Three funky solo cuts are backed by a new collaboration with his regular righthand-man and fellow SCI+TEC artist Johnny Kaos.
