Freak Out For Fitness (Remixes)

FSQ's "Freak Out For Fitness" aka "FOFF" is a fitness anthem, a new wave disco funk affair written by FSQ's Chuck Da Fonk and One Era that should evoke the soundtracks of 1980s fitness crazes. Soul Clap's Charles Levine, aka Charlie Soul Clap, leads off this package with an extra heavy weight sounding remix that pumps up the original with a funky house vibe. The Lisbona Sisters, fresh off their debut release for Seth Troxler's Slacker, go full cardio set to an Italo disco regimen on their remix of "FOFF" and while you can hear Giorgio Moroder arpeggios in the mix, there's also a muscular funk veneer bulking up the track. Third Attempt, the producer hailing from the heart of Nu-disco land, Tromsø, Norway (now living in Oslo) uses his remix of "FOFF" as a showcase for his signature trip-hop-house sound, warming up the musical elements from the original as they build up a sweat over a sultry, six minute plus session.
