The second outing on Cosmic Elements is something a little different from usual jackin house music producer Soul De Marin in the form of hip hop 3 tracker 'Crack The Needle EP'.
Opening track 'Needle Cracker' captures the west coast U.S sound reminiscent of the classic 'Mushroom Jazz' compilations mixed by Mark Farina. Also on a similar tip is the vocal track 'All Kind Of Girls' with it's tough beats and likeness to the golden age era of hip hop. The closing track on the EP is the smoky sounds of 'La Guitarra', with its melancholic guitar hook and warming chords.
Rotterdam based producer Soul De Marin is regularly associated with the world of jackin house music, having had several top download spots on various download sites with Adaptation Music, Dufflebag, Beatdown, Disko Zoo, Tony Records, Cabbie Hat and more.
