Elva is the work of English/French DJ and producer Emily Unsworth. Born in London and now in Paris, she often weaves organic and Afro-house spells for Parisian tastemakers at places like Mamao. On "Wendo" (Swahili for "Go"), she teams up with Nairobi songstress Lin Njoroge for a beautiful, sun-kissed percussion journey filled with deep pianos and Lin's incredible soaring vocals. The kind of record is perfect for joining the dots between the daytime Afro house sounds of "Jolie Fille" and the late-night, club-focussed grooves of RBØR, Black Coffee and Joezi.
