For the 44th edition of Melómana, we are delighted to present a collaboration that already made waves earlier this year with their contribution to the “Various Artists 2024 compilation released in January. We’re talking about Nick Hanzo and Ludviq, two names that are pushing the boundaries of the underground electronic scene. Nick, founder of the influential and avant-garde label Belly Dance Service, and Ludviq, at the helm of the innovative imprint Bonkers Music, represent a convergence of unique visions within contemporary electronic music. Both stand out for their ability to curate exquisite selections of tracks and artists in their labels, as well as for their undeniable talent in the studio. It’s no surprise that renowned figures such as Damon Jee or Ivan Smagghe have already included their music in their sets.

This highly anticipated release offers us two original tracks in collaboration and a third solo track by Ludviq. Opening the EP, we find "Raving Miles", a hypnotic journey that unfolds with an entrancing vocal, supported by a bassline with funk nuances and a dose of psychedelia that permeates every beat. The track builds into a texturized climax, where percussive synths evoke the intensity of a shamanic ritual on the dance floor.

The second track, "Widget Figet", ventures into a more raw and visceral terrain. Cavernous percussion, executed with surgical precision, lays a solid foundation from the very beginning. A sensual vocal intertwines with an energetic groove, while finely programmed synths add layers of complexity and depth, creating a sonic experience that heats up any space.
