Zeynep Erbay continues on her journey with Soul Clap Records giving us "Toco Toucan", the lead single from her upcoming EP, "Forest Spells", a 4 track leftfield house adventure inspired by lush woodlands and the creatures that reside there. "Toco Toucan" sonically leans towards the tropical climes that the bird is found in, and opens with bubbling congas, bird chirps, percolating synth arpeggios and relaxing chords. After the track's Balearic opening, "Toucan" reveals its house flair anchored by a funky bass line and a touch of acid, before Zeynep shows off the Latin side of the tune with her minor key piano stabs. She ties all these musical themes together by the time the track concludes with a thick Equatorial rhythm.
