Most dance artists' journey to their first milestones is tortuous. Now and again, you get artists that buck this trend. It's hard to say why; maybe it's simply that their music is so attractive that things happen much faster. Whatever the reason, that's what's happened with the Italian DJ and production duo Mediterane. Straight out the door in July, they secured a spot with New York House titans, Nervous. Since then, despite having only two further releases, they have chalked up DJ store success and 100Ks of streams. You will be delighted to hear that these hot young kids have chosen GU as their next destination. "Dame Mas" is a sublime slice of Latin Tech packed with Spanish guitar, Reggaeton vocals and a bouncy bongo beat. Summer might be over in Europe, but with things hotting up in South America, this is perfect timing for Mediterane.
