Derricks Background
Derrick Givens started singing and acting at the age of 8 years old appearing in several commercials as a child. He has written several tunes for George Benson and has performed on albums for Stevie Wonder, Gwen Guthrie and several other major recording artists.

He was a member of The Givens Family who released a handful of singles on Sylvia Robinson's Sugar Hill label in the late 70s/early 80s.

He's released a couple of solo singles "You Know I Love You" in 2010 and "Come Back To Me" in 2012.

In 2015 he released his debut album "Once Again"
