Serbian DJ and producer Vlada D'Shake makes a welcome return to Bonzai Progressive with his impressive three-track EP entitled ‘New Generation’. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him on the label, but Vlada has continues to make waves on the scene. Active since 2011, he has released high-quality music on renowned labels like Balkan Connection, Juicebox Music, Mistique Music, and Stripped Digital. His tracks regularly feature in the sets of top-tier DJs worldwide, a testament to his consistent quality and unique style. This new release showcases three tracks primed to energize dance floors, and we’re excited to see what he brings next.

‘New Generation’ opens the EP, introing with a warm, pulsating analogue-style bassline. Spacey FX drift in and out, creating a cosmic atmosphere. Punchy kick drums anchor the rhythm, providing a solid driving force as sparkling, rhythmic percussions maintain a hypnotic flow. Striking synths burst through at key moments, cutting through the mix alongside cool spoken vocals that exude a dystopian vibe. ‘Special’ is up next, showcasing a chunky analogue bassline that drives the energy alongside tight beats, consisting of punchy kicks, shuffling hi-hats, and rhythmic percussions. Vibrant synth chords add a bright melodic layer that uplifts the track, creating a sense of movement and euphoria. At its core, a surreal breakdown takes the listener into a dreamlike space, where atmospheric textures and subtle effects build anticipation before the groove returns in full force. ‘Odd One’ concludes the release, opening with rounded kicks, complemented by sparkling hi-hats that add crisp rhythmic energy.
