Presenting the latest edition of the Fragments series, Purified Records reveals Fragments XXV. Welcoming British producers Marksman & TJ Lawton to the imprint with ‘Evocation’, the pair craft a mesmerizing soundscape that journeys across different heights and textures. Returning to the imprint with ‘Sunshine March’, Australian producer Juno Stone devises a blissful sonic environment with nature samples and undulating instrumental patterns. Closing the collection with Korean artist somyu’s ‘I Kept Telling Myself’, this creation ebbs and flows with gentle instrumentation and twinkling synths.

The Fragments XXV artwork displays an image of a coral reef, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Corals are living animals made up of tiny, soft-bodied organisms called polyps, which form colonies over time. These polyps build hard skeletons of calcium carbonate, creating the coral reefs that serve as critical habitats for marine life. Corals face multiple threats, with climate change being the most significant, as rising sea temperatures cause coral bleaching, weakening their ability to survive.
