Toronto-based producer Iskarelyn lands on Purified Records with his stunning two-track ‘Eclipse’ EP. The title track floats across a dreamy instrumental arrangement, intertwining soaring synths and vocals across a melodic soundscape. Flowing into ‘Odyssey’, Iskarelyn combines gentle instrumentation and fleeting synths to devise a poignant and soothing atmosphere.
The ‘Eclipse’ EP artwork features a photograph of a turtle, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Sea turtles are ancient marine reptiles known for their long migrations between feeding grounds and nesting sites, with some species traveling thousands of miles across the ocean. They face numerous threats, including habitat destruction, climate change, poaching, and entanglement in fishing gear, leading all species to be listed as endangered.
