We’re excited to bring you an extra release on House Heads as we also introduce a new artist to the label. Loic Penillo, a French DJ/producer, began his music career in 2008 as a DJ. He achieved a major milestone in his journey by winning the famous RTS French radio mix competition. Throughout his career, he has played at prestigious venues in his homeland, including La Villa Rouge, La Voile Bleue, and Le Privé. Loic’s talent has also taken him abroad, where he’s performed at renowned clubs and festivals in the USA, Switzerland, and Africa. His production work is supported by some of the industry’s finest, with most of his releases found under Sony Music. Recently, he’s produced remixes for notable artists such as Laurent Wolf and Laidback Luke.
Now, for the first time, we welcome him to House Heads, where he makes his debut with the single '99'. The track is powered by solid house beats and a bassline, accompanied by a carefully chosen sample that forms a strong foundation throughout the song. The arrangement is top-notch, featuring a standout vocal sample that perfectly complements the track. This is a high-quality house track through and through, and we highly recommend it to both House Heads fans and vocal house lovers alike.
