"Star Rider," written in 2017, was never officially released. An early rough mix was shared with peers and received positive feedback. However, when Nathan later refined the mix and arrangement, the response was less enthusiastic, with some feeling that the original "magic" had been lost. This led to the classic artist's dilemma of uncertainty, ultimately resulting in no release at all. Now years later, a request to use the song in a film has prompted Nathan to release both versions. Regardless of which mix you prefer, the song is full of heart and features dreamy sonic qualities. Additionally, a third track, "Goodbye Kiss," has been included in the release. Originally written for a play in 2010, this simple yet poignant song, filled with longing and sadness, complements the release beautifully.
