Hailing from the beauJful countryside of East-Germany, young music producer and DJ Berndt Bechstein is forging his path in the electronic music scene, track by track. His musical debut on Slothacid, 'Only You EP', is a snapshot on his path!

Music is an essenJal part of his life and you can find him in the studio every free second of the day, producing heavy hiXng music aimed for the dance floor. With his very disJnct sound, Berndt's tunes have already made the rounds in clubs around the globe.

In 2021 Berndt joined Andreas Henneberg's 'SNOE' label family with the groundbreaking 'Duck and Dive EP', the label has since then become a home base. Through a string of solid releases, Berndt has already received support of his tracks from arJsts such as Laurent Garnier, Jamie Jones, Joyce Muniz, Roger Sanchez and of course always from the label family Andreas Henneberg and Beth Lydi.

Berndt's genre is tough to pin-point and swirls between groovy Techno, Tech House and Minimal. For me as someone who used to live, work and party in Berlin from 1999 to 2015, his music almost exudes a familiarity for a certain period of my journey as a DJ when I started gigging in the city. 'Only You', the Jtle track of this release, albeit sporJng a sweet name, is a bona fide fesJval monster. Big bass, big kick, big feelings, big moments, big smiles when it rolls over you! 'Wicko Wicko' has a more playful side while delivering a straight groove and a big break that drops so nicely.
