When Kevin McKay relaunched Glasgow Underground in the 2010s, Raffa FL was one of the early artists he recruited to build the label's new sound. Raffa's collaborations with Mihalas Safras and Paride Saraceni were some of the most sought-after DJ cuts back then. Fast-forward nearly a decade, and we are back in partnership again, following Raffa's massive Latin Tech hit, "Ritmo", with another percussive adventure. No prizes for guessing it's the Gypsy Kings he's reworking here, but with the addition of Skylin3 on production, Cumbiafrica on guitar and Lina on vocals, he's given the song a very different spin to the ones already out there. The beats are straight-up tech house, while the filtered Flamenco guitars deliver the good feels and Lina's superb vocals top the lot. It's a classy banger.
