The hype



Spirit Soul, a leading force in Japan's soulful house scene for many years, is starting to release tracks featuring overseas artists affiliated with the Spirit Soul Crew. The first release will be a work by Ek Duangdej, a.k.a. Bigboyquiet, a DJ producer, composer, and guitarist from Bangkok, Thailand. As the title suggests, the track is soulful and jazzy, making it perfect for summer lounges.

The release includes remixes by Funky Gangster from Thailand and ISM from Spirit Soul. Funky Gangster's remix enhances the original for the dance floor, while ISM's remix, based on Afrobeat, transforms it into a more refined and exhilarating track.

日本のソウルフルハウスシーンを長年引っ張ってきたSpirit Soulが、Spirit Soul Crewとつながりのある海外アーティストをフィーチャーしたリリースを開始。その第1弾は、タイのバンコク出身のDJプロデューサー兼作曲家、ギタリストのEk Duangdej a.k.a Bigboyquietの作品となる。タイトル通り、夏のラウンジに最適なソウルフルでジャジーな曲となっている。

EPには、タイのFunky GangsterとSpirit SoulのISMによるリミックスを収録。Funky Gangsterのリミックスはオリジナルをさらにダンスフロア向けに、ISMのリミックスではアフロビートを基調にした、より洗練され疾走感のあるトラックに仕上がっている。
