Paul Wiltshire, also known as MuSol, started his DJ career in the late '80s and has spent many successful years behind the decks. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to play alongside renowned artists such as Hot Since 82, D Ramirez, Mike Mago, Marshall Jefferson, and Tom Novy. In the late 2000s, he began his journey as a producer, delivering numerous high-quality releases over the years. Thanks to his excellent work, he has become a significant figure in the international house music scene. Besides his own label, MuSol Recordings, he frequently releases music on Big Speaker Music and now, to our great delight, he debuts on HouseU.
Joining MuSol in this collaboration is Dave Clough, also known as dAVOS. The two frequently work together and have showcased several successful joint projects in recent years. dAVOS has previously released on renowned labels like Toolroom Trax and Cleveland City. Around seven years ago, MuSol heard singer Alex Sun Drae perform in Amsterdam and has since wanted to collaborate with her. This dream is now coming true as the trio presents their track ‘Disco Heaven’ on HouseU.
The track is dominated by house beats that blend seamlessly with a brilliantly composed bass synth, creating an excellent groove. The exceptional house piano dominates throughout the track, complemented by Alex Sun Drae's outstanding vocals, elevating the entire piece to a new level.
