Michael Terzian ( Although the original release was a heavyweight in my opinion, Stax (aka Abicah Soul) and Tony Loreto combine remix duties to yield one terrific and infectious 10-minute dancefloor journey. Another surefire release by Phuture Sole. Nuff said! Greg Fenton (M8 & DMC) 280 West have been producing notable and generally soulful dance music from way back when to the present day with this latest production for Phuture Sole. Suitably remixed by Abicah Soul & Tony Loeto who stretch the full song out into ten minutes of organic ecstasy via some heavy-duty instrumentation and irresistible percussion work, however this is probably not for the fainthearted out there. An Instrumental and Bonus Beats versions then provide back up to what is essentially the real deal. Franco Martinelli ( Phuture Sole Recordings is back with the new Abicah Soul & Tony Loreto's remixes of "I Never Knew" by 280 WEST feat. Diamond Temple. The new remix is an intense deep affair, with great string, classy piano keys and an infectious percussive groove to support the beautiful vocals. The package also includes the "Instrumental remix" as well as a useful "Bonus beats". Rogério Cunha ( The 13th release from Phuture Sole is a wonderful remix on the song "I Never Knew", the label hit from 280 West feat. Diamond Temple, with background vocals by Ray, Goodman & Brown. Abicah Soul aka Stax and Tony Loreto, two years after the first mixes, bring new smooth percussive groove, intense strings and classy piano line which fit like a glove in the highly celebrated vocals. Michael Fossati ( After the success with the remixes of "You remind me" (Kenny Carvajal featuring Swaylo), Phuture Sole once more commissioned Abicah Soul and Tony Loreto to remix one of their previous hits. This time its "I never knew" by 280 West which features Diamond Temple (with background vocals courtesy of Ray, Goodman & Brown) that has been given a wonderful makeover featuring classy strings and magnificent piano that harmonize perfectly with the incomparable vocals, all masterly arranged over a smooth yet deep and fierce, percussion enriched groove. Dean Serafini ( There aren’t too many more distinctive voices in the business, and the 280 West production team of Rob Temple and Mark Mendoza seem to know just exactly how to blend his voice with their own music. Almost exactly two years on from the first release, Abicah Soul & Tony Loreto have been set loose on the track and have crafted an alternative that starts off mellower than the original version but ramps it up later on with some bounding keys as Diamond cranks up the pitch to falsetto. I enjoyed this first time around and whilst I’m not sure whether I prefer this set of mixes or those from 2006, it’s certainly back on my play list.
