Chicago native Proppa delivers once again with “Clock Out, Block Out”, and we here at EXCEED are excited to welcome him back to the label with this cracking tech house jam.

Shuffling drums and sharp hi-hats set the pace with a burbling, funky, head nodding bassline expertly adding to the groove. The spoken word vocal further adds to the appeal, as the groove kicks back in and squelches of synths start to work their way through. A quick drop before everything builds, kicking back with a bouncy lead synth line and before the full groove returns.

This is a great slice of tech house which we’re sure will be heard on many a dance floor!
