Underground mainstay Robert Babicz brings his inventive take on techno to two fresh new tracks on Stripped Down Records.

Robert Babicz has been on an endless mission to mix sound and emotion over the last 30 years. The Malta-based, Polish-born producer conveys real honesty with his work on labels like Bedrock, Systematic Recordings, Mille Plateaux, Kompakt and his own Babiczstyle and has put out several timeless albums as well as endless underground anthems.

The sublime 'Mahoya' kicks off with driving and rubbery low ends. Up top is a spine-tingling vocal full of melancholic soul, while gritty synths add essential texture as this most complex but compelling track unfolds. The fantastic 'Liquid Gold' ups the ante with more potent drums and surging synths. It will sweep dancers up with waves of energy that are backed by the deft synth craft and muted acid lines, then leave them in awe as the twinkling melodies rain down at the mid-point.
