Since 2019, Rudosa’s Manchester based label, Moments in Time, has had many strong releases, showcasing their commitment to signing upcoming local talent, as well as those more established names. For their next release they welcome back rising talent, Skoden and a remix from power house duo, New Frames. The Birmingham based artist and founder of YAWA records made his debut on Moments in Time in June 2022, with his track ‘Walls of Jericho’. His music is being supported by some of the biggest names in the industry and with releases already on HEKATE, Green Fetish Records, Monasterio Moscow & The Meaning Of Rave, the future is looking bright for Skoden. Kicking things off, is drum heavy track, ‘BHX94’. This simple but effective dance floor filler is kept interesting with its loopy lead arp and super cool breakdown. The remix of ‘BHX94’ is up next; the Berlin based duo add more fuel to the fire with this hard hitting remix! The jungle inspired title track, ‘Metal Vice’, is a stripped back but driving techno banger and showcases why Skoden is a force to be reckoned with. ‘Rudeboi’ brings a powerful end to the EP with its aggressive reese bassline; a combination of ‘Metal Vice’ and BHX94’, it brings more musicality but keeps that jungle vibe alive!
