Sent from a distant future on the brink of collapse, Bongo & Pusk are here to dissect modern rave culture and find the essence at its core. An alternative version of The Philosophers Stone, known to the children of tomorrow as The Ravers Rock. Without it, humankind is destined to a future deprived of kindness, tolerance and laughter. A future where people have no connection to each other, themselves or the planet they inhabit. Bound as slaves to the Hamster Wheel of Eternity.

Their mission started with wax, plastic and cracked code on old machines. Back in the late 90's they were just teenagers with a shared passion for rave music, but turning 1's and 0's into vibrating air quickly became their focus. Now they operate from their studio in Copenhagen - an inter-dimensional vessel, where folding waves and time with a mix of classic analogues and modern digitals are their weapons of choice.

A keen sense for quality music and a symbiotic playing style has made them a mainstay on the Copenhagen and Berlin underground scene and insistingly pushing their sound performance forward sets them apart from your ordinary conveyor of electronic music. In constant search for that magic moment when the universe aligns and everything comes one, they have guested a multitude of clubs and festivals in Northern Europe and released on imprints like Sum Over Histories, Get Physical, Tonkind, Sofa Beats, Golden Gate Records and Compute Music.


After a recent studio rebuild, our protagonists are now looking deeper into modular sound design and a more performative approach to writing music. That and finishing a lot of works is setting up for much more to come.

DROM : A playful session had created a groove, but it had no real direction or purpose so it stayed in the drawer for a while. Simultaneously we were exploring darker sonic territories and that unnerving feeling of having pushed things too far. Enter Juno-60 and a simple chord bending its way deep into our souls, and Drom was born. A celebration of the uglier side of rave culture and that ambiguous feeling of not being able to stop and enjoying it too.
