Showcasing the next stage of his musical journey and highlighting his maturing sound while introducing a creative outlet to experiment more and combine with contemporary talents and legends of the scene, AJ Christou's newlyminted V-House Sound imprint looks set to capture influences from all corners of the house realm while also joining the dots between fashion and music for the bubbling UK talent. Having launched the project with the rich and rolling sonics of 'Skin' alongside Aaron Pfeiffer, racking up love from Jamie Jones and Marco Carola amongst other heavyweights, the label boss is back for the second instalment as he unveils a fresh selection of beats. Linking with Miami-based DJ/producer Amal Nemer, who arrives following music on Nervous and Glasgow Underground, the Manchester favourite switches things up as he drops his new single 'Wild Mind' to open September.

Built around crisp, slinking drums beneath soulful melodies, playful male and female vocal interludes and warm, hazy tones, 'Wild Mind' is a classy sun-soaked cut built for the late summer months, while the 'VHS Disco Dub' launches into a funk-fuelled interpretation armed with chunky bass grooves and sweeping string melodies for a bumping trip.
