"Butterfly" is a sublime slice of late night grooviness, with Downtown s sultry vocal drifting along atop a rich bassline, some semi-broken beats, and subtle synth chords Spencer reworks the track himself to kick of the flipside, dropping the vocal track and letting the late night grooves work their magic by themselves with a bit more keyboard action thrown in for good measure Last up is the instrumental dub, which, contrary to what you would think, goes with the vocal and beats from the original to lead off, before a thudding kickdrum comes into play alongside what sounds like a space flute This is, of course, unless the tracks on the b-side are incorrectly labeled! 3 tracks of late night house that will please any crowd
