After making a debut on Sprechen as part of a previous Edgy Future Discotheque compilation, we are excited, thrilled, stoked and all the above to present a 4-track artist E.P. of absolute lush soundscapes by Sun Sone.

All tracks are destined for sunsets across the world with a sound that is as unique as it is familiar. With soaring key changes wrapped up in percussion from all areas of the globe that at times touches on African jazz stylings and the more chilled side of artists like Four Tet & Floating Points.

Helicoidal is like an ethereal dream of pads & flute sounds with a pulsing bass that swoop in & out around skippy beats & frantic percussion hits. Sounds like it'd be crackers but its total bliss.

Farsighted is full of mystique & sun-soaked wonder with a chugging drive of clicks & pops topped with stunning pads & synths before dropping to a bass & kalimba sounding pairing. Perfect soundtrack for if you were licking frogs deep in the heart of the jungle.

Dolphin makes a 2nd appearance here after wowing people with its inclusion on a previous compilation release. Still a beautiful piece of sun scorched music that sounds as good as ever.

All That Glitters finishes off the E.P. and is a majestic sounding piece that is positively dripping in far eastern sounds & vibes whilst still retaining a totally unique aesthetic quality. Beats & percussion that create a ceremonial march are matched by layer upon layer of blissed out synths and sounds before a flute & string breakdown with added ethereal qualities. Quite simply put, this is outstanding!
