Cass Roc presents THE NG9 PROJECT

The NG9 Project

RSTLSS TRX
RSTLSSTRX0009 | 2013-02-25
Next up on RSTTLSS TRAX, The NRG Project.“THE NG9 PROJECT” can be found in the deepest realms of Sherwood Forest, Nottingham. They consist of “Cass Roc” and “Nail’ who deliver their debut offering of musical goodness for RSTLSS TRX.
The title track, ‘The Blueprint’ sounds like a mid-80’s boogie throwback that pays plenty of homage to the funk sound and bounces along effortlessly.‘Vitamin Trax’ is a moody number that captures the essence of all things 90s house… doffing its cap to the NYC/New Jersey sound with its gruffly unpolished low-fi sounding arrangement, this is sure to cause dance floor devastation.
Supported by a heavyweight list of names including Nick Holder, Groove Armada, Matt Tolfrey, Delano Smith, Sebo K, Radio Slave and Deetron, and not to mention label boss Phil Asher who has been road testing relentlessly.

Young producers could do themselves a favour and take some pointers from these productions rather than using the chord plug in on Ableton and coming up with 90s-aping snoozeathons. Both tracks outstanding.
